UN PRESEPE PER NATALE / A NATIVITY SCENE FOR CHRISTMAS

Il presepe può essere personalizzato in mille modi diversi. Comunque lo si faccia l’elemento centrale sarà sempre la grotta o la capanna che ospitano la sacra famiglia. Quest’anno ho avuto il privilegio di costruire la casa della natività di nostro Signore per un’associazione locale. Le misure sono 150 cm. X 80 cm. X 120 cm. di altezza e fatta interamente con legno di recupero.

Una volta liberato da graffette e chiodi, si è trattato di avvitare le varie tavolette a dei sostegni e poi assemblare il tutto. Il resto sono le tante decorazioni e le luci calde che creano quell’atmosfera che solo il Natale è in grado di offrire. In fondo all’articolo metto alcune foto scattate durante la costruzione della casetta e del presepe finito. La struttura é stata donata al Santuario della Madonna di Fatima di Cittá della Pieve, in provincia di Perugia (Italy) dove il presepe sarà visitabile fino al 6 gennaio 2023. Che altro dire? A Nativity scene can be customized in a thousand different ways. However you do it, the main element will always be the cave or hut that houses the Holy Family. This year I had the privilege of building our Lord’s Nativity House for a local association. The measurements are 150cm. x 80cm. x 120cm. high and made entirely with reclaimed wood. Once freed from staples and nails, it was a question of screwing the various boards to the supports and then assembling everything. The rest are the many decorations and warm lights that create that atmosphere that only Christmas can offer. Above I put some photos taken during the construction of the house and the finished Nativity scene. The house has been given to the Santuario della Madonna di Fatima in Città della Pieve, Perugia, Italy where the Nativity house will stay until January 6th 2023. What else to say?
